“Ask forgiveness for them or do not ask forgiveness for them; even if you ask forgiveness for them seventy times, Allah will not forgive them; this is because they disbelieve in Allah and His Messenger, and Allah does not guide the transgressing people.” (Holy Qur’an 9:80)
“And do not pray over any of them who has died – ever – or stand at his grave. Indeed, they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger and died while they were defiantly disobedient.” (Holy Qur’an 9:84)
We also know that the Blessed Messenger (saw) is 100% against suicide/homicide bombings.
“Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption in the land – it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one – it is as if he had saved mankind entirely. And our messengers had certainly come to them with clear proofs. Then indeed many of them, after that, throughout the land, were transgressors. (Holy Qur’an 5:32)
The Prophet Muhammed (saw) did not perform funeral prayers over Muslims who killed themselves.
Imam Muslim reported from Jabir b Samura who said, “Someone who killed himself with a spear was brought to the Prophet (saw) but he did not pray over him.”
(Source: Narrated by Muslim in Al Sahih: Kitab al-janaz [The book of funeral processions], chapter: “On Not Offering Prayer over Someone who Committed Suicide, 2:672 /978.)
Imam Al-Nas’ai , Abu Dawud and Ahmad b Hanbal cited the same report in the following words:
“Ibn Samura reported that someone killed himself with a spear and the Messenger of Allah said, “As for me, I shall not pray over him.”
(Source: Narrated by al-Nas’ai in al-Sunan: Kitab al-jana’iz. [The Book of Funeral Processions], chapter: ‘On Not Offering Prayers over someone who Committed Suicide’, 4:66 /1964, Abu Dawud in al-Sunan: Kitab al-jana’iz [The Book of Funeral Processions], chapter: ‘The Imam Should Not Offer Prayer over Someone who Committed Suicide[‘, 3:206/3185 and Ahmad b. Hanbal in Al Musnad, 5:92 /20891″)
This is very serious when you consider that the Blessed Prophet Muhammed (saw) prayed for his enemies and people who hurt him and attacked him.
He even stood for a Non-Muslim Jewish funeral procession.
“A funeral procession passed in front of us and the Prophet (saw) stood up and we too stood up. We said, “O Allah’s Apostle (saw)! This is the funeral procession of a Jew. He (saw) said, “Whenever you see a funeral procession, you should stand up’.” Source: (Sahih Bukhari, Vol 2, Book 23)
He used to perform the funeral prayers over the hypocrites until the revelation came ordering him to abandon this practice.
“And do not pray [the funeral prayer, O Muhammed], over any of them who has died – ever – or stand at his grave. Indeed, they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger and died while they were defiantly disobedient.” (Holy Qur’an 9:84)
You also know that there is no shafaat for this people in the future because the Blessed Prophet Muhammed (saw) did not even make the funeral prayer for such people!
“The Day they are dragged into the Fire on their faces it will be said, “Taste the touch of Saqar.” (Holy Qur’an 54:48)
