The passing of Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said of Oman

“Who, when disaster strikes them, say, “Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.” [Holy Qur’an 2:156]

We belong to Allah and unto Allah is our return. May Allah [swt] grant the beloved Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said the highest place in Jannah.

May Allah [swt] bring to the people of Oman a leader that will be filled with love, compassion, wisdom, and justice.

May Allah [swt] protect the people of Oman and give them good stewardship in these trying times.

Al Fatiha.

May I be among the first of the people to say,

I testify that Allah is one and that Muhammed is the Messenger of Allah.

May Allah bless, guide and protect the Amir of the people of Oman, the newly appointed Sultan, Haitham bin Tariq Al Said

Under the Sultan Qaboos of Oman.

Oman opened the first embassy to Palestine.

Oman helped the United States and Iran to come together for peace on nuclear weapons.

Oman refused to boycott Qatar when all other GRC nations did so.

Oman was the first in 1988 among Muslim nations to recognize Palestine.

Trade flourished between nations.

The clerics can differ with the government without fear of reprisals.

In Oman, the recognition is that Sunni, Shi’a, and Ibadi are all Muslims and takfir is not made upon one another.

In Oman Christians have Churches, Hindus have temples and multiculturalism is no threat to Islam.

Beloved Sultan Qaboos I can only say to you that we long to meet you in the paradise.

“Return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing to Him.” [Holy Qur’an 89:28]
