The Ibadi school is the earliest surviving school of jurisprudence. The legal founder of the school is the Tabi’i Jabir Bin Zayed (ra). He took knowledge from many of the companions chief among them are the mother of the believers Aisha (ra) and Abd Allah ibn Abbas (ra).
