Salafi preacher insults the companion Amr b. al-Hamiq al-Khuzāʿī for stabbing Uthman in the chest 9 times. He did this out of ignorance. However, once senior and more learned scholars told him that Amr b. al-Hamiq al-Khuzāʿī was a companion he had to resort to the position of ‘May Allah be pleased with them all.’
You have to wonder what was the conclusion of this Shaykh even after he found out there was only one Hamaq al Khuzai and that was the Sahabi who killed Uthman.
So let us just pretend like the narrations are not in the books, and pretend that he didn’t insult the companion who claimed he killed Uthman.
It is also worthy of note that Amr b. al-Hamiq al-Khuzāʿī joined the ranks of Ali bin Abi Talib.
If there was some supposed hadith of ‘the 10 promised paradise’, Uthman certainly didn’t recite it. Those who wanted him dead and those who killed him certainly never heard of it.
Just for the readers information, I did not create the above video. I did not really enjoy the giggling and laughing in the background of the video. It takes away from the serious nature of the point being made.
By the way Amr b. al-Hamiq al-Khuzāʿī is only one. There are other companions who participated in this. However, some people wish to deceive the masses, and erase names from history and claim some shadowy group were involved in all these things.
This is to uphold their doctrines and not to uphold the truth.

““O people, if anyone from among you finds any fault in me, he should rectify it.” A man stood up and said, “If we find any crookedness in you, we will rectify it with our swords.” Umar (ra) said, “I am thankful to Allah that he has created such a man in this nation who would rectify Umar’s crookedness with his sword.”
“That is a nation which has passed on. It will have what it earned, and you will have what you have earned. And you will not be asked about what they used to do.” (Qur’an 2:141)

Not all sahaba were equal. And some of them did very bad things. The best example for that is Muawiya, who even made the cursing of the Prophets family (saws) an obligation at the friday prayer.

عن عامر بن سعد بن أبي وقاص، عن أبيه، قال أمر معاوية بن أبي سفيان سعدا فقال ما منعك أن تسب أبا التراب فقال أما ما ذكرت ثلاثا قالهن له رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فلن أسبه لأن تكون لي واحدة منهن ۔۔۔
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Shu’ba with the same chain of transmitters. Amir b. Sa’d b. Abi Waqqas reported on the authority of his father that Muawiya b. Abi Sufyin appointed Sa’d as the Governor and said: What prevents you from abusing Abu Turab (Hadrat ‘Ali), whereupon be said : It is because of three things which I remember Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) having said about him that I would not abuse him and even if I find one of those three things for me, it would be more dear to me than the red camel.
I heard Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) say about ‘Ali as he left behind hrin in one of his campaigns (that was Tabuk). ‘All said to him: Allah’s Messenger, you leave me behind along with women and children. Thereupon Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) said to him: Aren’t you satisfied with being unto me what Aaron was unto Moses but with this exception that there is no prophethood after me. And I (also) heard him say on the Day of Khaibar: I would certainly give this standard to a person who loves Allah and his Messenger and Allah and his Messenger love him too.
He (the narrator) said: We have been anxiously waiting for it, when he (the Holy Prophet) said: Call ‘Ali. He was called and his eyes were inflamed. He applied saliva to his eyes and handed over the standard to him, and Allah gave him victory. (The third occasion is this) when the (following) verse was revealed: “Let us summon our children and your children.” Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) called ‘Ali, Fatima, Hasan and Husain and said: O Allah, they are my family.
Sahih Muslim, Chapter of Virtues of Companions, Section of Virtues of Ali, Book 31, Number 5915
The interesting thing about this particular hadith that many will gloss over is this portion:
“What prevents you from abusing Abu Turab (Hadrat ‘Ali), whereupon be said.”
Which shows you that the one asking the question felt that Imam Ali was worthy of being abused.
In fact, we have an article here about all the abuses that they used to hurl upon each other.
However, the position of our school is that this is the past. We tell the history we do not hide or distort anything but we hold our tongues from the companions.
What does it benefit us to curse anyone? If Allah curses someone that is more than sufficient.

As regard the so called hadith of the 10 promised paradise in which the paradise is being distributed like a bread we have already shown it to be problematic for several reasons.
No one here is saying anything bad about the sahabah. The man in the video, a Salafi, An Athari he is the one who said the bad things. We are simply bringing the darkness to light.
