Christians are in full on metldown over Islam.
On the one hand we keep hearing about this mass apostasy from Islam. They feel if they keep telling themselves that or keep saying it that it somehow becomes a reality.
These are the same Christians that tell your average every day American and Englishman that those 2% of Muslims in the U.S are somehow going to force Shariah law upon the 98% of the U.S.
Mind you that 23% of the United States 330 million population are evangelical Christians and they have yet to implement theonomy. Yet, somehow those 2% of Muslims are going to force shariah law upon the American population.
Even though the Christianity Today article mentions that Burkina Faso, a population with 65% of Muslims is not going to be implementing Shariah law.

Every small town in the United States has no less than 50 different Christian denominations all arguing over thier particular flavour of Christianity. Yet, somehow they (these Christians) think that Muslims are all united, on the same page, have the same goals and idealogical bent?

A huge segment of the population really does believe that the Earth is flat. That there is an ice wall that prevents anyone from traveling beyond. That you can reach Africa from the Grand Canyon in Arizona. That the moon is hollow, or even possibly a sattelite ‘spying’ on us.
You would think that such views are held among the poorly educated. However, you may be quite suprised to find well educated and articulate U.S Americans holdings such views and things even more extreme.
This is what the Muslim is dealing with.

Caucasians of European descent can celebrate their heritage days. However, when Shi’i Muslims remember Karbala or African Americans want to celebrate Kwanza we start talking about assimilation.
So we can have St. Patrick’s Day (March 17th) and have massive parades in cities like New York and Boston. The Midwest can have their Octoberfest (September-October) which is rooted in Bavarian tradition. We can have Mardis Gras (Shrove Tuesday/Feb-Mar) which was brought by French settlers and celebrated in New Orleans, Louisiana and Mobile Alabama. We can have Colombus Day/Italian Heritage Day (October) which marks Italian-American culture and has parades in New York. We can have Lief Erikson Day (Ocotber 9th) which celebrates Noridic American heritage and European exploration of North America. You can attend the Polish Fest in Milwaukee) Wisconsin which is held annually in June at Henry Maier Festival Park and all of that is fine.
The people who talk about assimilation wear T-shirts of the American flag complete with hot dog juice and mustard stains and wear the American flag like a cape.
Imagine the cognitive dissonance of a Christian who post a picture of a woman in a bikini eating a hot dog (presumably pork) with the caption. “Islam hates this.”

The Christian apolgetic/polemic scene is in absolute disarray. They have thrown everything they have had Islam and Muslims and nothing seems to stick.
Trying to prove that Christianity which came 700 years before Islam is historically more verifable then a religion (Islam) that came 700 years after it.
This type of attack usually focuses on trying to show the disconnect between the Hebrew Scriptures, what Christians call the Old Testament and the narratives found in the Qur’an.
The Assumption is that the Old Testament which was compiled and edited and redacted during the The Babylonian Exile (6th Century BCE) -600 years before the advent of Jesus, and gives us information about Moses who came approximately 1,300 years before Jesus is an accurate recollection and account of the past events.

The Old Testament also frequently gives information about events which it could not have been witness to, or in which there were no eye witnesses. Examples being the narrative about the garden of Eden. Hence, the information has to come from what is claimed to be revelation.

In West Africa Masjids there were missionaries who attended Masjids with the Muslims and prayed with them! This prompted Sam Shamoun to retaliate against ‘Reasoned Answers’ -another Christian apologist website that focuses on attacking Islam. Sam Shamoun had discovered that ‘Reasoned Answers’ has a son who identifies as a transgender. A member of the LGBTQ community.
He (Sam) also pointed out that the man behind ‘Reasoned Answers’ his own wife was involved in LGBTQ activity.
Sam who goes by the moniker ‘Bruce Lee’ @BruceSaiFun posted the following. He posted pictures of ‘Reasoned Answers’ wife -where she posted a pic of herself with breast (covered by her hair). Why anyone would post such pictures on Facebook is anyone’s guess.
Imagine! This ‘Reasoned Answers’ individual has a wife doing all this and he is calling Muslims to become Christians? No thank you.
However, look at Sam’s language. This is what Christians are calling us to.

If you saw the way that Christians (Orthodox, Catholic, Protestants) try and run from this verse it would leave you shocked. The point of the verse is that man is in sin and is sinful. However, once you are born of God this means you are born of the Holy Spirit.

Ayaan Hirsi is basically pleading to Richard Dawkins (and all Atheist and Freethinkers) basically to become ‘cultural Christians’. This may mean to do a public announcement or baptism to outwardly appease Christians. The argument that Ayaan basically gives is that there is a spiritual vaccum in Western Nations. That Islam will fill that gap. So she is making her case to Dawkins for Christianity.
What is interesting is why Ayaan thinks that Islam in particular will fill this vacuum. Not Buddhism, not New Age Spirituality, not Wicca, not Hinduism or anything else but Islam!
Ayaan is actually not trying to persuade Atheist on rather or not Islam is true but rather or not Christianity is a political necessity as a ‘bulwark’ against Islam.
